Welcome to Shropshire Aero Club, Sleap Airfield

Surrounded by beautiful countryside, the rural location of Sleap Airfield has been the enviable home of Shropshire Aero Club since 1955.

Visitors have a fantastic panoramic view over the airfield and beyond towards the Welsh hills from the relaxed atmosphere of the Lock Lounge Cafe & Restaurant, located on the upper floor of the old WWII control tower building - toasty warm in winter and where sitting outside on the balcony watching the aviation world go by in summer has become a pastime for many.

With free Wi-Fi access Sleap Airfield is a superb destination for pilots and non-pilots alike - why not pay us a visit and discover our little gem of a location!
