Sleap Airfield is also home to Shropshire Light Aviation, a maintenance company set up in 1996 by club member Mr Peter Whitehead, a licensed engineer with over 20 years of experience in the General Aviation field.

All of our club aircraft and most of the privately owned aircraft at Sleap are maintained by Shropshire Light Aviation. |

The aircraft are maintained to the highest standards and any club member who wishes to know more about the technical aspects of aviation are always made welcome at the hangar. An ideal time is during inspections, when the access panels are off, cabin trim removed and engines un-cowelled. Please contact the Engineering Team on 01939 290861 if you are interested. |
