FLYING

Flying - maybe it's a lifetime ambition, perhaps a desire for a new challenge or a discerning choice of a leisure activity that's truly different. Whatever the reason, why not let the Shropshire Aero Club put YOU in the pilot's seat?

The Shropshire Aero Club is based at Sleap Airfield in the heart of one of England's most beautiful counties. It's fleet of modern, well-equipped aircraft caters for all private pilots - from the raw beginner right through to the experienced aviator.

If you are setting out on the path towards the Private Pilots License, the Shropshire Aero Club offers flying with qualified instructors at some of the most competitive rates in the country. The course is a minimum of 32 or 45 hours flying ( depending on the type of license required ) but the Shropshire Aero Club has the flexibility to suit your time and your pocket - we are open seven days a week, so you can opt to fly intensively or to spread your training over a longer period.

At the Shropshire Aero Club, the approach to flying training is of the highest quality with safety of paramount importance.

Once you've completed your training and your obtained your License, there are dozens of destinations in the UK, or - for example - in Eire and on the continent, which you can visit, using our aircraft. The expertise is also available at Sleap to enable you to move forward to more advanced flying qualifications.
