Your First Trial Flying Lesson

Have you ever wondered how it would feel to take to the skies with you in control? Now you can discover the thrill, excitement and freedom of piloting a light aircraft with the Shropshire Aero Club flying from Sleap Airfield!

Your Trial Lesson begins with your fully qualified flying instructor giving you an introductory pre-flight briefing to prepare you for the flight and also to introduce you to the operation of the aircraft's control systems. Then its out onto the apron where we carry out a pre-flight external check of the aircraft. Once inside the aircraft we will demonstrate the controls hands on and give you a brief explanation of the aircraft's instrumentation.

To experience the thrill of flying contact us on 01939 232882. It may be the start of the most exciting hobby you can ever have! But be warned, it will make golf seem a bit tame afterwards!

Our fully qualified instructors will guide you through the aircraft's controls

This will re-enforce the introductory pre-flight briefing and will also give you the opportunity to get the feel of the aircraft. The exhilarating trip will last for either 30 minutes or one hour.

Following an informal debrief you will be presented with a personal certificate as a memento of this trip of a lifetime. If you are already keen to obtain a Private Pilots Licence (PPL), the experienced gained on this flight will count towards your Licence and our fully qualified instructors will answer any queries you may have.
